To understand how God works to accomplish His will, one should have an understanding of the word “paradox.”
A paradox is a statement or proposition that seems self-contradictory or absurd but in reality, expresses a truth. It is paradoxical to think about someone who is virtually devoid of human ingenuity or skills, or even hope, yet becoming a master craftsman, or world renowned educator, military leader, or corporate giant.

Word of Encouragement – 8/2/17
Please allow me to expand on comments made Sunday about the urgency for preaching that warns of impending doom for those outside of Christ.
Paul told Timothy that “…the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;” 2 Timothy 4:3.

Word of Encouragement – 7/26/17
God commands you to rest!
Don’t you just love the thought of rest? We relish our bedtime after a grueling day — or a quick, afternoon power nap. God has designed these human bodies with a need to rest. He also modeled rest to us when He finished with the six days of creation. He rested on the seventh day — not that He needed it because God never tires — but it served as a picture for us.
